I would like to begin this article by stating that I am a believer in God and a follower of intuition. I also believe in the power of free will and in co-creating your destiny with God. I have stopped being afraid of taking responsibility for my life decisions, as it is the only way to live an adult life and I am confident that angels will support me along the way. The direction where your fear lies usually holds a lot of potential. Let’s say you are scared to have a child; perhaps that is precisely why you should do it—to become an amazing parent who possible gives life to a talented child who will change the planet with their gifts. Or if you are scared to fly, buy a ticket and just do it. The Universe will reward your trust and bravery.

Being an astrologer, I never rely on astrology for decision making. I follow my gut feeling. My husband and I got married because of our feelings, not because of a compatibility chart. However, these astrological tools can help in understanding each other’s characters better and finding a key to your partner’s heart.

The same applies to electional astrology. I take responsibility for my actions whether I want to fly somewhere, start a new business, or launch a promotional campaign for my products, but respecting nature and using its power to find the best celestial timing can be immensely helpful.

How Does It Work?

The process begins with defining the action or event in question. In relationships, this could be the best time to have an important conversation, start living together, or even get married. For personal growth, it could be the start of a life-changing retreat, a physical and mental cleanse, enrolling in an educational course, or kicking off a business startup or marketing campaign.

As an astrologer, I analyze planetary movements and alignments, seeking times when the cosmos reflect harmony, support, and positive energy towards the goal. For every individual, these dates should be chosen based on their personal Natal chart. However, there are general periods that everyone should respect:

Lunar Phases: The Moon’s phase is crucial. A new moon, symbolizing beginnings, is ideal for setting up goals. A full moon is a time to pay attention to your emotions and relationships, better to stay away from difficult conversations and not to rush while movement. A waning moon is good for letting go of destructive habits or relationships.
Avoiding Retrogrades: Each planet has its own astrological responsibilities (e.g., Mars for action, Venus for beauty, Mercury for trade and communication, Saturn for restrictions), and their retrograde periods can affect these areas. For example, Mercury or Venus retrograde might be less favorable for clear communication and understanding in relationships.
Eclipses: Actions taken during eclipse corridor between two eclipses can have long-lasting effects, up to 18 years. A lunar eclipse is great for ending bad habits, while a solar eclipse is ideal for initiating new ventures. Just be cautious of potential issues with fire or electricity on solar eclipse day.
Astrology is not a tool for predicting the future. You make your own decisions, but astrology, like a weather forecast, can help you choose the best day for your big plans. It should be used as a guide, not a deterministic rule.
